Target Audience:
New users who don't yet have a Carna account
Prerequisites:
An active email address (for receiving important notifications)
Internet connection
A web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge for desktop; Safari, Chrome, or any updated web browser for mobile devices)
Getting Started
You can follow the steps from the video below, or just follow along with the step-by-step guide with screenshots. It shouldn't take more than 1 minute.
🖥️ Creating Your Account on Desktop/PC
Follow these steps to create your Carna account using a web browser:
Step 1: Access the Registration Page
Navigate to www.carna.ai in your web browser
Click the "Start Learning" button or the "Login/Register" button on the homepage
Step 2: Begin Registration
Since you're a new user, click the blue link at the top of the page that says "New to Carna? Register Now!"
Note: If you already have an account, simply log in with your existing email and password instead. If you forgot your password, follow the steps in this link to reset your password.
Step 3: Choose Your Registration Method
You can register using either Google or Email:
Option A: Register with Email
Enter your email address in the email field
Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters required)
Re-enter your password in the confirmation field to verify it
Check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions
Click the "Register" button to complete the process
Tip: You can use any email and password you prefer—this is your personal account. Make sure to use an active email address so you can receive important notifications.
Option B: Register with Google
Click the "Login with Google" button
Follow the prompts to link your Google account
Step 4: Enter Your Personal Information
Enter your First Name and Last Name
Click "Complete Profile"
Important: Enter the name of the learner who will be using the account, not a parent or guardian's name.
Step 5: Select Your User Type
Choose the option that best describes how you'll be using Carna:
Individual User: Select this if you're using Carna for personal learning
Organization User: Select this if you're part of a school or business and have an invitation code
Note: If you selected Organization User, you'll need to enter your special invite code. View instructions for joining your organization
After completing these steps, your account will be created and you can start exploring Carna!
📱 Creating Your Account on Mobile (Android/iOS)
You can create your Carna account directly from your smartphone or tablet using a web browser. Follow these steps:
Note: Carna does not currently have a dedicated mobile app. Please use Safari, Google Chrome, or any updated web browser on your mobile device to access Carna.
Step 1: Access the Registration Page
Open your mobile web browser (Safari, Chrome, or any updated browser)
Navigate to www.carna.ai
Tap the "Start Learning" button or the "Login/Register" button on the homepage
You'll be redirected to the app login page at www.carna.app
Step 2: Begin Registration
Since you're a new user, tap the blue link at the top of the page that says "New to Carna? Register Now!"

Step 3: Choose Your Registration Method

🔧 Troubleshooting
Didn't receive your verification email?
If you're expecting a verification email but haven't received it, try these steps:
Check your spam or junk folder – Sometimes automated emails get filtered incorrectly
Wait a few minutes – There can occasionally be a short delay in email delivery
Resend the verification email – If you still haven't received it after checking spam and waiting, return to the app and use the "Resend verification email" option
