Carna is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which gives you an app-like experience directly from your browser without needing to download anything from an app store. You can install it on the home screen of your phone, tablet, or computer for fast and easy access.
🖥️ On a Desktop Computer (Windows & macOS)
You can install Carna using a modern browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Open your Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser and navigate to www.carna.app.
Look for the Install icon in the address bar at the top right of your screen. It usually looks like a computer screen with a downward arrow.
Click the Install icon.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click the "Install" button.
Carna will now be installed as an application on your computer. You can find it on your desktop, in your Windows Start Menu, or in your macOS Launchpad, and pin it to your taskbar or dock for easy access.
🤖 On an Android Device
You can add Carna to your home screen using the Chrome browser.
Open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet.
Go to www.carna.app.
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, select "Install app" (this may also say "Add to Home screen").
A confirmation screen will appear. Tap "Install".
The Carna app icon will be added to your device's home screen, allowing you to launch it just like a native app.
🍏 On an iPhone or iPad (iOS & iPadOS)
The process for iOS and iPadOS devices requires using the Safari browser.
Open the Safari app and navigate to www.carna.app.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen. It's the square icon with an arrow pointing upwards. *
In the Share menu that appears, scroll down and tap on "Add to Home Screen". *
On the next screen, you can confirm the name for the app icon.
Tap "Add" in the top-right corner.
The Carna icon will now appear on your home screen. You can tap it to open the app directly at any time.
